May 30 – U.S. President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk hold a press conference in the Oval Office of the White House. The muted send-off marked the end of Musk’s 130‑day tenure as special adviser to Trump — a breakup that has since devolved into bitter confrontation on social media.
Russia’s massive air attack on Ukraine
June 5 – Scenes of destruction at the site of the Russian drone strike in Kharkiv, amid Moscow’s massive attack across Ukraine.
June 4 – Palestinians gather in a charity kitchen to receive limited rations amid a shortage of food, in Nuseirat, Gaza. The United Nations has warned that ”the entire population of Gaza is facing the risk of famine” since Israel closed border crossings, and food distribution turned into chaos.
June 5 – Dawn breaks over the “Standing with Giants silhouettes” installation at the British Normandy Memorial in Ver-Sur-Mer, France, ahead of the 81st anniversary of D-Day. The 1,475 statues are meant to honor each of the servicemen who fell on June 6, 1944.
Philippines’ Eid kid

Bangkok Pride
June 1 – Thousands filled Bangkok’s Rama I Road for the 2025 Pride Parade, where participants in vibrant costumes danced through the streets to celebrate Pride Month and champion LGBTQ+ rights. This year’s celebration was especially historic, marking the first Pride since Thailand legalized same-sex marriage in March 2025, becoming the first Southeast Asian country to do so.
