Luis Rubio

As an observer, analyst and columnist, I have had the purpose of sharing my perspective on issues that are essential for the moment we live in and for the future of the world and of Mexico in particular. I do not accept dogmas or labels of right or left. I strongly believe in the possibility and need to maintain a balance, which does not imply neutrality, but rather the intentional and constant search of different perspectives to adopt and defend clear positions and offer compromised opinions. I was educated in a liberal environment, my passing through the university brought me to the left political literature; I later studied American institutionalist political currents and learned the fundamental concepts of economics. I never stop reading and listening. I change my points of view as I learn new things, I know contrasting evidence, or change reality. The result of this process are analyzes and proposals, through which I try to contribute to the development of an open, inclusive and liberal society with the opportunities, but also the limitations, brought about by economic reality. I have no absolute truths. In writing I try to explain to myself the complex problems of our time and to offer my readers a solid and reasoned perspective so that even those who do not share my views create valuable reading. http://luisrubio.mx/
