Jakob Von Lindern
Born in 1989 as Jakob Struller in Bayreuth, Franconia, 16 years later he made his first attempts as a journalist at the “Nordbayerischer Kurier”. He studied economics and political science in Cologne and Istanbul, and was trained at the same time at the Cologne School of Journalism. There he was later part of the school’s management for five years and was responsible for digital training. As a freelance author, he wrote for the “Handelsblatt”, the magazine “t3n” and DIE ZEIT, among others, often with colleagues from the JP4 journalism office and most of all about how the Internet is changing the world. At ZEIT ONLINE since March 2021, acting department head from January to November 2023, deputy department head since then.
