
Heinrich Wefing
Born in 1965, raised in Hamburg, he studied law and art history in Bonn and Freiburg. From 1996 to 2007, he was a feature editor at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), mostly in Berlin, and for three years as a West Coast correspondent in San Francisco. Since 2008, he has been with Die Zeit, initially responsible for the opinion pages, and since 2010, deputy head of the politics department. He has received numerous prizes and awards. He occasionally writes books, most recently “Geht alles gar nicht” (with Marc Brost, Rowohlt 2014). He has two children.
