Yasmín Porrata Morán
Yasmín Porrata Morán is an associate reporter with Global Press Journal. She joined Global Press in 2023 after working as a press officer and social media specialist for Double A baseball teams in Puerto Rico. She has received a bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages from University of Puerto Rico, a master’s degree in Media Writing from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón as well as a postgraduate degree in Sports Journalism from the José Martí International Institute of Journalism in Havana, Cuba. Outside of reporting, Yasmín enjoys kayaking in La Parguera National Reserve or visiting the Cañón Blanco River in Utuado where a large part of Taíno heritage is preserved.
