Volker Weidermann
Born in Darmstadt in 1969, after working as a journalist at “taz”, “FAS” and “Spiegel”, he has headed the arts section of ZEIT with Christine Lemke-Matwey since October 1, 2021. His books include “The Book of Burnt Books” (2008), “Ostende” (2014) and “Dreamers” (2017, all published by Kiepenheuer & Witsch). Weidermann was also the host of the “Literary Quartet” on ZDF for five years.
