Silke Weber
Silke Weber was previously head of the digital edition of ZEIT, or the ZEIT app for short. As editor-in-chief, she was responsible for the print magazine ZEIT Arbeit, directed ZEIT Abitur, and worked on various other magazines published by ZEIT Verlag, including co-developing the Hamburg newsletter. She is a graduate of the German School of Journalism and studied German philology, sociology, and journalism. She grew up in East Germany and lived in England, France, and Greece. She writes about Greece, contemporary culture, work, migration, social inequality, and feminism. Her writing has received numerous nominations and awards.
