Raoul Löbbert
Raoul Löbbert studied German, linguistics and sociology in Bonn. Then six years in the culture department of the “Rheinischer Merkur”. From 2010 to 2014 at Christ & Welt at DIE ZEIT, where he was Editorial Director from 2016 to 2020. Since July 2024, Raoul Löbbert has been culture editor at ZEIT ONLINE, where he writes primarily about cultural and socio-political topics. He has received several awards for his reports and essays, including the Ernst Robert Curtius Prize for Essay Writing, the Catholic Media Prize and the Dietrich Oppenberg Media Prize.
