Monica Minardi
Monica Minardi, trained as a general practitioner in Italy, earned her emergency medicine qualification in the United Kingdom, where she worked in this field and in intensive care for 10 years, holding coordination roles from 2017 to 2020. Since 2022, she has been President of the Italian branch of Doctors Without Borders. She has worked with MSF in Angola, as head of the pediatrics department, and in Pakistan, as head of the emergency department organization and the opening of the emergency medicine department. She also recently worked on an emergency project in Northern Ethiopia, as project manager for medical activities in Korem.
