Michael Schlieben
Has been an editor at ZEIT ONLINE since 2007. From 2013 to 2018 he was head of the politics, economics and society department. Before that, he did research at the Göttingen Institute for Democracy Research. This resulted in, among other things, a doctoral thesis on political careers in the Federal Republic (published in 2013). Since 2021 he has been observing Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the SPD and election campaigns in the federal states.
