Karla Perez
Cuban journalist expelled from Marta Abreu Central University in Villa Clara for political reasons. At the age of 18, she moved to Costa Rica with a backpack to complete her studies at the Universidad Latina. Interested in the changes taking place on the island, she returned soon after to report on them.
