Jacob von Lindern
Born in 1989 as Jakob Struller in Bayreuth, Franconia, he began his career as a journalist 16 years later at the “Nordbayerischer Kurier.” He studied economics and political science in Cologne and Istanbul, while also training at the Cologne School of Journalism. There, he later served on the school’s management team for five years and was responsible for digital education. As a freelance author, he wrote for publications including “Handelsblatt” and the magazine “t3n,” often collaborating with colleagues from the JP4 journalism office and most frequently discussing how the internet is changing the world. He has been with ZEIT since March 2025.
