Cristoph Drösser
Christoph Drösser has been living in San Francisco as a freelance journalist and author since 2014. Before that, he was an editor at ZEIT in the knowledge department for 18 years and was the founding editor-in-chief of the magazine ZEIT Wissen. His popular column “Stimmt’s?” has been published in ZEIT since 1997. Drösser studied mathematics in Bonn and then worked for ten years as a freelance author for print media, television and radio. During this time, he spent a year at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge (USA) as part of the Knight Science Journalism Fellowships. In 2014 he was Journalist in Residence at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics in Santa Barbara, and in 2017 Journalist in Residence at the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing in Berkeley.
