Born in 1985. She studied German, English, and history in Cologne and Cambridge. She was educated at the Henri-Nannen-Schule in Hamburg. Since October 2016, she has worked as an editor for the ZEIT religious supplement, Christ & Welt, but also writes for other ZEIT departments, primarily on music. Nominated for the German Reporter Award in the Culture category in 2018, 2021, and 2024, for the Listen to Berlin Awards 2022 in the Music Journalism category, and for the FAZ Michael Althen Prize for Criticism in 2024.
