His music has become culturally universal and is played on the radio and at parties and clubs around the world, but most know little about the man behind the tables.

Where is David Guetta from?

Guetta was born Pierre David Guetta in Paris, where he grew up and spent much of his early life. In the 1980s, Guetta began to DJ at clubs in Paris, where the revolutionary French Electronic music scene was in its prime.

What is David Guetta's style?

Unlike many other DJs in the French capital, Guetta found new ways of infusing hip hop with house music.

Once Guetta found his sound, it didn’t take long for him to rise to stardom with his big hit "One Love."

He has worked with a diverse array of artists including Snoop Dogg, John Legend, Sia, and Timbaland, meaning he has been able to transcend genre and expand to markets throughout the world. Happy Birthday David Guetta!
