Paycom, a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, consistently showcases its unwavering commitment to social responsibility through impactful initiatives and community engagement.

For the 12th consecutive year, Paycom and its employees have continued their tradition of supporting local Salvation Army branches. This year, the company donated $130,000 to The Salvation Army of Central Oklahoma and The Salvation Army of North Texas. Through these gifts, Oklahomans and Texans will have warm coats this winter and food to eat by funding the client-choice food pantry. Paycom has also continued its legacy of giving the largest individual donation to the Red Kettle campaign for the central Oklahoma Salvation Army. In 2023, Paycom contributed $125,000 to these Salvation Army branches, and the 2024 donation marks the $1 million donation milestone since the partnership began.

“Thanks to the compassion and generosity of Paycom employees, we can reach even more individuals to offer them stability and hope,” said Major Russell Clay, area commander of The Salvation Army of Central Oklahoma. “We are very grateful for their unwavering support and commitment to the communities we help.”

The Salvation Army offers programs and resources such as financial assistance, food pantries, food kitchens, emergency shelters, senior centers and rehabilitation centers. The Salvation Army of North Texas also offers Christmas assistance, food pantries, shelters and rehabilitation centers that combat alcoholism and drug addictions. Their programs are available to every demographic, race and age group in the area.

Paycom employees also came together to donate over 1,000 winter coats and 250 care packages for seniors, all distributed to people The Salvation Army serves.

Tiffany Gamblin, director of HR business services at Paycom, said, “I’m honored to see the lasting impact of our partnership with The Salvation Army, The collective efforts of our team, from every donation to every volunteer hour, have truly made a world of difference in the lives of those who need it most.”

This initiative is part of Paycom’s ongoing employee giving program, which enables employees to contribute to local and national sustainable programs. These include youth programming, mental health treatment and programs for individuals living with disabilities, all aimed at meeting basic needs and encouraging a brighter future for all. They raise funds, hold toy drives, coat drives and more year-round. The company also matches each donation an employee contributes through the employee giving program.
