On Thursday, the British punk band Buzzcocks played a gig in Paris, as part of the “Europunk” exhibition in the French capital. Although putting the punk movement in a museum may seem paradoxical at the least, it is the opportunity for old-timers such as Buzzcocks’ Pete Shelley or PiL’s Johnny Rotten to meet the ones they influenced with their raw and honest approach to life and music.
