This October, the New York-based record label Luaka Bop re-released some of William Onyeabor’s best works. The album is conveniently called “Who is William Onyeabor?” The Nigerian funk musician, who came to prominence in the late 1970s, eventually become a born-again Christian and never talked about himself or his music again. But Luaka Bop managed to convince him to give new life to his spacy-disco-funk hits. Here is one of them, “Good Name”
