“Dramatic night in Berlin & Athens,” reads the front page of Athens-based newspaper Ethnos Tuesday edition, as the heads of IMF and ECB unexpectedly joined late-night talks on the Greek debt crisis in Berlin.

French President Francois Hollande and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, who were scheduled to meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel, were joined by European Central Bank President Mario Draghi and International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief Christine Lagarde who flew to Berlin to try and find a way out for Athens.

Meanwhile, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras says his government has submitted a draft proposal for an agreement, AP reports. Read our English edition of Tsipras’ strongly worded editorial in Le Monde.
