A woman from Treviso in northern Italy, who left her neighbor in charge of her five cats while she went away for a few days, returned home to a rather grim surprise, as reported by Italian news site Quotidiano.
One of the cats — which had required daily medication — died while the owner was away. What would you do? This particular cat-sitter decided to put the deceased feline in the freezer, thinking the owner could then dispose of (and mourn) her beloved kitty however she saw fit.
The 54-year-old cat owner apparently did not appreciate this method, sinking into a state of depression that required hospitalization.
