PORT-LOUIS – Twenty-three mothers of primary school children in Port-Louis in northwestern France have taken "parental involvment" to a whole new level.
To collect enough money to send their kids on winter field trips, mothers from Port-Louis’ Transparents association have decided to organize a "sexy and glamourous" photoshoot for a calendar "with a 1950s feeling", says daily Ouest France.
"That might not get them to Gstaad, but that should allow the teachers to offer a wider range of activities," Catherine Prévost of the Transparents association told Le Figaro.
Last year, some twenty dads of children had already taken their shirts off for a calendar that helped finance their kids’ summer field trip.
